PROYECTO LA PAZ 2025- RALCO, CHILE
Project La Paz is a missionary initiative aimed at bringing hope and love to communities in Latin America. Students from campus ministries in Chile, Uruguay, and Mexico take part in this project, gaining the opportunity to work with local communities and share the love of Jesus in practical ways.
This year, our mission will take us to Ralco, a community in the south of Chile where we will collaborate with a local church and the Pehuenche indigenous community. During our time there, we will work with the local church and a local kindergarten to carry out construction and painting projects, workshops and other community building activities.
Several students from El Oasis Santiago are eager to join this transformative experience. If you would like to support one of them, you will find more information below.
Hello! My name is Isaí Lucero Soto, I am 26 years old, and I live in Santiago, Chile. I am currently finishing my studies in architecture. For over six years, I have served in missions through my church, where every opportunity to serve has inspired me to know Christ’s character more deeply and to imitate Him. This time, through Project La Paz, I want to continue fulfilling the mission while growing in mercy through service—especially in this case, where my gifts can contribute to the needs in Ralco. If it is on your heart to make a financial contribution to support me or another participant, it would be greatly appreciated.
Hello! My name is Mario, I am 25 years old, and I am a musician. Project La Paz combines community and service—two things I love being a part of. Helping the church and community in Ralco means being an instrument of God, serving to build not only physical structures but also strengthening bonds within the local community. Being part of this mission would be an opportunity for me to learn and witness firsthand the change that service can bring to a community. Working with families, working on construction projects, and seeing what we can achieve during those days is an experience I am excited to be a part of.
My name is Paola Canelón, I am 20 years old, I live in Santiago, Chile, and I am a Psychology student. For me, Project La Paz is an inspiring opportunity to bring the warmth of the gospel to communities in need through service and fellowship. I want to participate because I believe it will be an experience that strengthens my faith and allows me to make a difference by using my gifts and abilities to serve.
Hi! My name is Constanza, I am 22 years old, and I am studying to become an English teacher.
For me, Project La Paz is something that truly calls to me. I have wanted to participate for a long time, and this time, I finally have the opportunity to do so. I am very excited about what this trip will mean for me, my friends from El Oasis, and the community in Ralco.
I trust that this experience will help us grow, and I believe that getting to know different realities, helping, and connecting with others through service is something wonderful—something everyone deserves to experience at least once in their lives.
Hi! My name is Maximiliano Rojas Contreras, but everyone calls me Max—it’s shorter.
I’m 20 years old, born and raised in northern Chile, specifically in the Tarapacá region. The main reason I want to be part of this project is the call to serve communities that need it the most. I have always been passionate about volunteering, and my eagerness to help others is a defining part of my personality.
I hope to give everything I can in every possible way while also gaining new experiences, knowledge, and above all, a clearer vision of what God has planned for me.
In this new experience, I will be doing everything I love and everything that makes me feel alive: being in community with God and His divine plan.
The students have to raise $200,000 chilean pesos (a little over $200 USD) to participate in Proyecto La Paz. We invite you to leave a donation to help them reach their goal and be able to experience what God has in store for them in Ralco.
Aflter making a donation please send an email to nachoferrada@gmail.com letting us know that your donation is for proyecto la paz specifically. If you would like to make a specific donation to one of the students, please include thier name in your email. If not, you can put "proyecto la paz general."
¡Thank you for being a part of this mission!
